While 60 riders try to figure out where on earth we've sent them, there's a huge team behind the scenes making it all work: checkpoints in the middle of the night, refreshment points, logistics, vehicles, horses, communications, registration desk, finishes, starts. Le Centaure 27 · Gorbeia will need a large team of volunteers willing to experience the event from the inside.
What can you do?
There are many ways to be part of the team:

- Support and refreshment points
- Logistics

- Registration desk
- Support in the horse areas
- Starts and finishes
- Communications
- Set-up and preparation during the days before
- Take-down and support after the event
Do you need to know orienteering?
No, but if you do, we want to meet you. We're looking for people with all kinds of backgrounds: orienteering, mountain sports, TREC, riding, off-road, logistics, communications, and also anyone who simply wants to help and experience Le Centaure from the inside. We take care of organising the team and finding the role that best fits each volunteer.
When?
The event takes place from 5 to 7 March 2027, but Le Centaure starts well before the first horse sets off: we'll also need help in the days before and after to set up checkpoints, spaces, equipment and logistics, and to pack everything away afterwards. In the form you can tell us about your availability, experience, preferences, and whether you can also help before or after the event.
What will you get out of it?
We won't promise you much sleep, but we can promise you:
- Experiencing Le Centaure from the inside
- Being part of an international team
- Getting a close-up look at a truly different event
- Nights in Gorbeia you'll probably remember for quite a while
- Free accommodation, with a roof and heating
- The satisfaction of being behind every rider and horse who makes it to the finish

You don't need a horse. You don't need to compete. You don't even need to know how to use a compass, though if you do, we definitely need to talk.
